When defining 'normal' most people don't automatically think of 6 legged people that can breathe fire and shoot lasers out of their eyes. Well, unless you're talking about a favorite fantasy novel. These otherworldly abilities are a simple fact of life in Kufihliwe ihlathi, a small province behind Cariepdam in South Africa. It means a hidden forest. Here, people from all over Africa with these different fantasy like attributes are welcomed and integrated no matter the strangeness of their ability. Very little people know about us. Yet, this is home for so many.

Now you live in districts to survive, but what's the good in just being a number. Why would you look forward to a future of infant nothing, can you run from that? Where would you go? Where have the people who have escaped gone? Is that a future? What if there's someone who got left behind? I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself.
