Rachel waits patiently for her Marine husband to return home from deployment. She rests in knowing he'll be home for her favorite time of year: Christmas time! But when Saddam Hussein invades Kuwait, the whole world is plunged into war in the Middle East, including the United States Marine Corps. As Rachel watches the war unfold on television, her hopes of seeing her husband again come crumbling down.
Based on a true story, this inspirational fiction follows events leading up to the First Gulf War.
