He spends a year in solitude, only writing letters to communicate. When he's finally drawn from Grimuald Place by the Weasleys, Hermione appears at his front door with urgent and unsettling news. Harry realizes the hidden horrors of his years at Hogwarts and, together, with the help of Hermione, the two formulate a plan to redeem it all. Though, when it all goes sideways, Death shows himself to Harry, his master, and offers him a once in a lifetime opportunity. Will he take it? -- WARNINGS: 1. This is a slow burn, and I mean major slow burn (trust, it'll be worth it) 2. Tom is a manipulative little shit 3. It's taking me a long time to get my next Chicago PD story finished so I thought I would post some of my old Harry Potter stories while you are waiting. I wrote these YEARS ago and posted them on a HP Fan Fiction site that has since shut down (I lost a few in the process). I wrote these before the series completed so don't get hung up if it doesn't follow JK Rowlings storyline. This takes place in Harry's last year at Hogwarts! He is faced with more battles and finds new Allies!! As always his expanding friend group is with him through to the end.

But lately, he's been rude and almost cruel towards Harry and Hermione. And when they arrive at Hogwarts, Ron starts acting possessive and abusive. Hermione was going to tell someone, but as much as she hated to admit it, she's clueless. She's hurting physically and emotionally. And worst of all, she's scared. She's backed into a corner and has no one to run to. Or does she?

Ron left. Hermione followed. Now Harry stands alone in the middle of a war. Abandoned during the Horcrux hunt, Harry must face Voldemort's rising power - and his own doubts - without the friends he once trusted. Ron leaves after the war to avoid the girl who broke his heart. He is gone for over 6 years, ignoring all communication from his family and friends. He decides to return to surprise his father on his birthday, and finds a whole new type of family instead. What will he do when he learns who his friends are spending their life with? Will he be able to accept it? Will they forgive him for leaving? Meant to be a oneshot but it kind of got away from me so consider it a longgg oneshot! (: JK Rowling owns all characters (Besides the kids).

Harry and Hermione just arrived to the Final Battle. Ron had disappeared before the battle even started. They had been betrayed and Dumbledore's plan has gone wrong. The wrong side has won and Fate is determined to fix it. Time Travel Fan Fic. Weasley/Dumbledore bashing. Rated M for language. HP/HG PE/SS AB/SB NL/LL Being revised and will be posted again under the name Started Anew. The story will be fairly the same, but details will be changed or added.
