The Queen of Nightmares died thousands of years ago. She ruled the realm of fears day and night, until her unfortunate death. Legends say some day she shall return in our world, until she falls again.
Sixteen-Year-Old Elenora May wakes up screaming five or six times every night, and has blackouts where she falls to the ground, her eyes lose color, and she gives no response to the world around her yet she never remembers the nightmares or the thoughts that go through her head during the blackouts. Soon enough her mother sends her to a boarding school in New York. Bullied at her old school and now bullied at this boarding school leaves her beaten up and weak; fearing for her safety, but when she starts appearing in the nightmares of others everything starts to change.
Fourteen-Year-Old Yasmin Smith has heard the stories of The Queen of Nightmares and knows the powers she holds. She spends her time looking for the Queen and soon finds her. When she does it is not what she expected at all. She soon realizes that to control the reincarnated Nightmare Queen will be easy.
Ava Young at Seventeen is the biggest bully at the boarding school. Seeing others in pain is her greatest joy, yet she has a secret. She wishes only to figure out why she can always hear screaming in her head; screaming that is only quiet when she is causing others pain.
