The moment Gold became Champion of Johto, he knew something was wrong.

Unbeknownst to the world, a secret society existed behind the heroic veil of the regions' Pokémon Leagues. Lead by a mysterious, nameless figure, the Pokémon League worked in his interest rather than for the good of the people. Valuing money over anything else, they stole from the world and masked their every action as being for the greater good.

As Gold began unraveling the twisted secrets hidden withing the Pokémon League, he grew desperate to reveal the corrupt reality to the world. He was bound, however, by a mysterious oath that prevented him from ever acting against them. As he fell deeper into the demented tangles of the Pokémon League, he learned just how badly some Champions want out--and how much some Champions love their life of corrupt luxury. The Pokémon League was too powerful for one person to overcome.

Gold had to decide if risking his life and the lives of everyone he loved was worth trying to achieve justice.

Though, one issue layed ahead. Gold, the confident and reckless kid he remembers all those years ago. He never really liked him, he'd find him quite annoying mostly, though there were times where he'd warm up to the other, but this time he didn't really want any distractions, he just needed to participate in this tournament and win. --- Here's a fic with something a little bit different, a Christmas themed fanfic with my current hyperfixation, i wrote this with the help of Dreamily.ai cause I can get brain rot every now and then, so I hope you enjoy it despite it coming out of season. After this success Giovanni declared the Viridian Empire and began a military build up to take over the rest of the world. The first phase of the plan was in motion, the plan to capture the Legendary Pokemon Mew. However the plan didn't go as plan and Mew blasted Team Rocket and their empire to a new world. Giovanni and Team Rocket will have to weather the new challenges that this new world brings.
