He hasn't fully recovered from what has happened throughout his high school days. He thought college would give him that time, knowing everyone has changed. His life would be fine.
He couldn't be any more wrong.
Something has broken through his tough exterior to John's vulnerable self. And he doesn't know it, but his mask is cracking too.
