In a world where humans never existed, there're such beings of magic and wonder in their place. Dragons are the most intelligent, and therefore the dominant species.
     Each dragon hatches from an egg looking the same - Black, sleek, and plain. When they reach a certain age, they begin to grow features that correspond to what element they are. Each dragon can only have one of these elements.
     But what if you hatched with two elements,
     And a strange red symbol just behind your eye?

    "I need you to help me, Zepth." The Queen locked her cold stare onto the dragon who sat before her, which unfortunately was me. "I need you to stay on my side. You are aware the reasons behind the declaration for war, yes?"

    "Yes, your highness."

    "Then you understand my problem. One, anyways." She looked away, as if talking to herself.

    "Do you have another problem, highness?"

    The Queen looked around to make sure no one else was nearby. Then, she leaned in slightly and whispered, "Dark Dragons."

    "Dark... Dragons...? Is there such a thing, highness?" I cocked my head at the unfamiliar term.

    "Indeed. They roam everywhere outside of my kingdom. They threaten our very existence." She sighed, deeply troubled. "Dark Dragons are what we call multi-element dragons, and all of them are marked with a red symbol, of course it varies how it looks with each one..."

    I sat upright, and tightened my stomach muscles. My blood ran cold and one thought raced through me: Why had my mother never mentioned this?

The few white dragons left, the most appealing to eye and stomach, were destroyed by the black ones, perishing from existence. But one family- Castella's- manages to survive. Before killing the innocent white dragons, the leader forces the mother to breed with a black one, creating grey dragonets. But the leader had sensed Castella, and is heading back to claim her as his. Whether she likes it or not. I have funny dreams with bipeds but I have a world to explore. Mommy still has to teach me how to fly and breathe fire but I want to know many things and I am very curious. One day a fireball crashed in the forest and a little biped like in my dreams was crying. I brought it home secretly so that it would not cry anymore. I didn't want mom to find my human doll! Children, one dragon and the other human will have to leave the wilderness to find civilization. It will take a lot of ingenuity and courage for our little dragoness to survive in our modern world in the age of the internet and find her dragon mom captured by soldiers. She will have to learn a lot, hide from new enemies and make allies if she ever wants to find her. She will also have to make terrible choices too early and too hard for 6 year olds. Inside her, a terrible sleeping power must not be awakened. Doors, universes of other dark and oppressive dimensions, saturated: I risk nothing? I risk something? What is this darkness? I am afraid! started late 2017, completed as of the 27th of December, 2019. it's old and messy but it was my first proper story that I worked hard on and finished :) Tsaganari is almost definitely the last adult dragon alive. All sixteen hatchlings are her responsibility and dragonkind's future. But, these dragonets didn't hatch normally. They're bloodthirsty and animalistic, motivated by primal instinct. They hardly resemble the proud and complex dragons of the past, with intricate societies and ever-growing knowledge. It all would've worked out if it wasn't for humans. Istania never thought her two-week holiday to Iceland would be confusing, much less dangerous. And yet, she ends up being knocked out outside her hotel and re-awakened...in a cave full of dragons, for crying out loud. The world as she knows it has faded, giving way to one that's wild, involving running for her life countless times, flying, and even...relationships. However, after all this, Tsaganari's intentions have never been very clear. Just as everything seems to be settling down, she tells them the truth.
