It's a girl, she's at a guy's place. She couchsurfed. This is the first time she's done this. She is a little bit afraid, but saw he had a lot of references so, it should really be okay.
But still, when they arrive at his place, he's like "this is my cave, welcome to my cave !".
Yeah, no, this joke was not fun. Plus, the guy is so bodybuilt, he could put me down in a second if he wanted. Sooo, no. Not funny, she thinks.
They have dinner. He looks at her with his muscled arm around the other chair, beside him. It makes his arm more visible. She tries everything she can to not look good, she is being childish, tries to laugh to much, be not sexy at all.
One moment, he says
" - Rich people always want more so they are not happy.
The girl responds :
- But poor peaple too. Silence in the room. She starts again. If you could have anything in the world that would appear right now in this place, what would it be, what do you want most ?
That's when she realised she did a really stupid thing. Oh so stupid she was. Why on earth did I say that she thought.
His answer confirms it. He does not look at her anymore, looks at his plate, shy. His muscles are really enormous under his short t-shirt. He prepares himslef to be honest, to confess.
- I don't know.... A family....
Ok try to not look surprise, please do not look surprised and react as if he asked you the salt. Change the subject.
- And nothing else ?
Oh my gos it's worst. You are the digging girl. You really are. Stop trying to make him comfortable and just shut your mouth !
- No, just a family.
Oh god please save me.
- Me I wanted to be president, before.
Okayyy I changed the subjet, he looks interested, phew. now I m gonna be more childish and again and again, and maybe, just maybe he's going to think that I was not accepting a hosting because I wanted to sleep with him.
[COMPLETED]
"Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us.
"Thought you could get away, didn't you?" The man who I saw before asks. His husky voice booms in the hollow tunnel, reverberating off of the dirt walls. His voice sounds familiar, and a realization strikes me. It sounds like the man from my dream. I remember him holding a gun and wearing a blue suit, smiling evilly at me.
"Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here.
I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group.
The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess."
