He just couldn't believe he was here, Midoriya was the sweetest and nicest person he has ever met other than Hagakure. He opened Shouto up to the world, helped him face his abusive father, embrace his own quirk, give him the confidence to see his own mother again, even helped him when he showed up to school limping the next day or when the poorly done makeup didn't cover his bruises. The young quirk user remembers watching the poor boy fall off the ledge of the rooftop as none of the other students did nothing to stop it and none bothered to make a sound until the sickening slap was heard throughout the crowd. Todoroki was already too late, just arriving up the stairs as he fell.
