Why do so many people on this planet believe in a divine being? Is it even sensible to believe in one? With increasing progression in human knowledge of the natural world around, there seems little reason to believe in a divine being. With this, the pressure increases on both the agnostic and Christian to abandon their search for the answer. Yet on the other front, the Christian also begins to face the rise of old enemies that once plagued Christian orthodoxy. Similar to its predecessor, this book and its compilation of themed articles addresses the issues in the logic, philosophy and thoughts of Christianity from a layperson point of view. Some of these articles serve to expand and clarify the points raised in its predecessor, and some on completely new topics. Yet unlike the predecessor, this book focuses more on the doctrine and basis of Orthodox Christian beliefs and how Christians can apply them to everyday life through articles that are once again, academic, reflective, and argumentative. Just like 'A Practical Guide to the Logic, Philosophy, and Thoughts of Christianity', this book is the result of a single individual's search for God. It promises to be challenging and thought provoking for the genuinely open-minded and interested. Even so, the articles are at best 'arm-chair theology' and are therefore meant to be easily understood by any interested agnostic and Christian with a slow yet provocative push into the basis of Christianity and her doctrines.

Why do so many people on this planet believe in a divine being? Is it logical to believe in one? There are so many claims by so many religions, so which is real and logical? Religious sects cannot even agree amongst themselves on doctrines, how can there be a One true divine being then? Why do Christians believe this? Can 'evolution' and 'God' co-exist? This book uses logic and modern day examples to explain the numerous questions that may flood atheists, agnostics and Christians alike. The first section deals with the logic of a divine being, the second deals with specific issues in Christianity, and the third section contains some of the personal psalms and reflections on things that a Christian might face and struggle. Each section contains a collection of articles, some academic, some reflective, and some argumentative. As society progresses in the direction of science and technology, logic and scientific validation plays an increasing role in everyday thought processes. In the scientific and logical world, religion, faith, and beliefs get continuously challenged. Many once-faithful Christians may begin to question their Christian beliefs, or get confused on the validity of the numerous doctrines and teachings of various Christian sects. Similarly, the agnostic is thrown into confusion amongst the claims of many religions and their sects on the 'Truth'. On the other end of the spectrum, the hard-core atheist begins to question the intelligence of more than 50 % of the world population that believe in some sort of divine being(s). The book utilizes logical arguments, and expositions of modern day examples in hopes to bring a clearer picture to issues dealing with a divine creator, the search for the truth, and certain issues in Christianity.

I always wondered why some people believed in prayer a little more than others. Was it something they did that other people didn't do? Or maybe prayer is only for specific people? I have only been a Christian for 6 years and in the 6 years I have been Christian, there is nothing that has helped me more than the power of prayer. Prayer works and when we learn about the power that is found in communing with the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit, we'll do it more. In this book, I am going to share the power that prayer produces, especially when we pray for one anther. I write it in a way that makes us understand the intercessory part of prayer and what God wants us to do when we go through our trying moments.

Once you read this book and the bible, just study it everyday and make it a piece of your soul and your everyday life. God says, to become great in his eyes and in the Kingdom of Heaven, you have to do and teach the Gospel. God's Second Greatest Commandment is love thy neighbor as thyself. So just say if you didn't know about God wouldn't you want your neighbor to tell you about God so that you could be saved? That's what God means by his Commandment. Show everybody that God is here and alive and will never fade away. Never be afraid to show people about God (Luke 9:26 "For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels."). Also, don't be afraid that they may harm pyou about telling people about God (Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee."). I would like for everyone to read this that is in this world, so we can all come together through Christ. So that we can live with God forever! My imperfect journey of maintaining God in our lives.

I was moved to write this story in an effort to educate people about God, His laws and how it caused me to separate myself from a religion I practiced for nearly 40 years. I also hope to inspire others to gain an interest and perhaps, as I have obtained, a passion for studying Biblical Hebrew. I will also uncover a centuries old conspiracy to conceal the actual name of God! Another purpose is to dispel some myths that people that leave The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints leave for only two reasons; they have lost faith, or they have been offended by someone. This is not the case with me, and I believe there is a growing number of people who have left for similar reasons. I want to be clear, my intent is not to destroy the church. I do not have any animosity towards the church nor the leaders or members. I acknowledge many members and leaders of the church are truly dedicated to living the gospel the best they know how. I also have great empathy for current members of the church as just a few years ago, I was a devout member of the church myself!

I feel I should offer a disclaimer; this will not be a book of pretty words and flowing writing. It might even have an odd format with short stories, prayers, poems, journal entries, and autobiographical tendencies. There will be raw bits of unfiltered emotion because I have always been a very emotionally driven person prone to over-sharing. This isn't a tutorial or a teaching manual, or a guide to Christianity. It is my personal journey in discovering The Way. My ongoing path from religion to having a personal relationship with the Living God. The idea for Letters to God has been with me for years. At first, as a blog post, but that didn't appeal to me as much, for my heart has always leaned toward writing books. Then I tried sharing parts of it as short stories, but that didn't sit well with me either. Subconsciously, I've been working on this for years. Of late, the Holy Spirit keeps putting the title in my head, and I've finally gotten the message.

Just read it, I'm not fighting you, I'm fighting FOR you. *I'm BEGGING A STRANGER!!!* As you know, I am a NEW Christian.👌👍👏❤😳😜 (and yes, best decision of my life, you should try it) HOWEVER, I am also human, which means Sin😈 Sweet, EVIL, Sin. (Chile, anyways, so!) In this story, you'll read about how I deal with Sin and do a terrible job at fighting what comes with loving the King of Kings at this stage of life....
