His swift hand interrupts, reminding me who's in control. Fingers wrap around my throat, making my eyes bulge. He pulls me to his face, his lips touching mine, and his potent words enter my mouth: "Do I need to remind you who you're talking to?" I shake my head. He lets my throat go, and I gasp. Our faces are still so close together that my heart is beating out of control. My assertive facade crumbles in an instant, and tears prick my eyes when he commands, "Kneel." I awkwardly crawl out of his lap and position myself in front of him between his legs on my knees. "Put your hands behind your back." I obey and immediately drop my face, too. "Look at me," he orders. I raise my head again and feel a tear slip free and roll down my cheek. His eyes soften, the corner of his mouth curling slightly. "You're right... You've been a very good girl," he remarks. A tingling sensation erupts between my legs, and my toes curl in response to his praise. "I guess the time you've spent without one can make up for you just being punished." I'm bursting with energy, but I'm doing my best to keep it under wraps. "I'm sorry for snapping," I utter quickly in a rasped voice, and he smiles. "Take off your clothes and get on the bed." *** A devastating illness rapidly spreading across the globe has turned the world inside out, and the situation is only going to become more intriguing.
