This young lord was brave and kind. His servants in the palace adored him as he adored them. His new head of guard adored the young lord a little more than most. He tries his best to keep this to himself of course.
As time passes, the bonds deepen. The young lord meets interesting and mysterious new people as his guard tries to protect him at all costs. Christopher, the young lord, learns many things. Things about his kingdom, forefathers and of course... about himself.
