Astrid is a young country girl obsessed with anything to do with horses, fashion, and her boyfriend. Although her parents make an unexpected move turning her best friends life upside down, Astrid has complictions tothink about like the relationship with her boyfriend, presure on winning the next upcoming show, and witnesses her horse's ingury which leaves him out of action for what could be the rest of his life. The only person who gets it however is the mean girl of the stables- or is she really just faking her understanding mind.

"What are you doing here?" I ask but it comes out as a sob. I don't want him, or anyone for that matter, to see me like this. I'm a wreck. Wyatt doesn't seem to mind though. He softly brushes the remaining tears from my face with his thumb. "I saw you run out of the canteen, green eyes. I couldn't just leave you here to cry because that would go against the tutor code." I put on a show only for him in front of hundreds of people.
