Slamming my head into the wall behind me he threw my body onto the ground. Doubling over in pain I Placed my hand to my side crying out in pain. He stood towered over me laughing. 

Drawing back his leg he kicked my stomach hard throwing me into the wall. I screamed for him to stop trying to shield my stomach from him.

I also just love books where not everything is sped through and you really get to know the characters and their habits.
