Bella developed strange abilities she wasn't able to do before, but she was always under the watchful eye of someone in a white coat. As she grew, the "lab" was all she knew. Until one day, she was sick of it. She knew she was the most powerful person in the lab due to how much her powers excelled. Possibly in the world. You thought she was on your side? Well maybe, people are more than what meets the eye. Especially genetically engineered ones.

Wrong dose
When twins Skylar and Jake were born, their scientist parents used them as an experiment. Each was injected with a dose of serum that would supposedly make them much stronger, smarter, simply better than other kids. But somebody added a chemical that changed the effects of the serum. As a result each twin got only half of the traits they were originally supposed to get. Skylar got the strength and speed while Jake got the brains. When they realized what had happened, the twins' parents immediately put them up for adoption, so neither one knew of the other. 12 years later Skylar is constantly failing all her classes, and Jake is getting bullied because he is so much weaker than other kids. But then Skylar's adoptive family decides to move across the country to find a new school for their daughter, which happens to be the school Jake goes to. They meet completely by accident.
