Sophia Hayes is a girl as normal as can be. Her aim for her sophmore year was to balance reading and keeping her grades up, and try to keep out of Archer Bennett’s way. What she isn’t prepared for is Onyx, to march up, scoop her out of her semi-normal, comforting life and throw her into a world full of mystery, adventure, drama, spies and assassins. When she is picked for an undercover mission and has to go through her senior year (again) in an exclusive prep academy, she wasn’t expecting it to be the same as it would have been before, but she certainly hadn’t been expecting Archer Freakin’ Bennett. Tall and gorgeous with dark hair, amazing green eyes, and a bad boy with the perfect blend of smoulderingly sexy and adorably cute, Archer was her greatest tormentor, the first on her enemies list. But the guy she meets four years later is like no one Sophia’s ever come across. Sure he still annoys her to the point of no return, but he also challenges her. He tests her limits, trying to bring back the girl she had once been. But, most of all, he compels her to consider, the fact that the boy who infuriates her to the level of her punching his face, might just be her liberator.
