What if Cinderella had a stepbrother instead of stepsisters? What difference would it make? Well, try not to imagine.

That's how Orchidella's story was told.

Orchidella once thought she had a perfect family. Her mother, her father and her twin, Calla Lily were her happiness and joy and she wouldn't wish for more. However, days weren't always shone with lights and chirps of birds. Storms and thunders would always rid the peace away.

Orchid never expected for her happy little family to fall apart, though, what she wished to stay was what she lost forever. She didn't understand why his father brought her away from her Mama and Calla but growing up, she had finally learnt that her family had broken and separated forever.

Her father thought that her daughter missed a mother's care and love so he remarried for the sake of Orchid. However, Venda wasn't the one Orchid would want to call a mother.

Losing her father, the only person she got to hold onto, Orchidella's life started to take turn.

She had then to live with her mean stepmother, who happened to bring a son with her into the house. How could Orchidella's life change from having a sister to having a stepbrother? He had looks but she knew better than that. They said good look seldom comes with kindness. Years passed and Orchidella had become used to her new fate.

But perhaps, a royal ball invitation could somehow chase the storm away and bring the light back into her dull life?

I loved a man. Blindly, foolishly, selflessly, pathetically, and sinfully. I changed for a man. From a broken girl who feared even her shadow to a detestable villainess whom everyone cowered before. To give him the world, I took it away from the other. I believed, no, rather deceived myself that I would be the one to stand beside him. However, I was wrong. Outrageously wrong. Because, to him, I was nothing more than a pawn, a disposable. "Is this the end," she whispered as her heart rate rose violently as if to explode at any time soon and her breathing became shallow gasps. 'Ah, I really am a selfish person. After everything I have done to you, I still wish to be born as your daughter again. Will you forgive me, father?' She thought as a single tear left her shimmering golden eyes, along with the last breath that she took... ... "Till the end, you never looked at me," a man muttered after seeing the woman, who had robbed him of everything that he cherished, lying lifelessly with her enthralling eyes that shut eternally. He walked to her side and slowly caressed her cold cheeks before saying, "The world has become mine, but I have lost everything, Seraphina." That night, prince Reyan Crevaria usurped the throne, killed his younger brother, emperor Reagan Crevaria, and conferred the late Grand Duke Amaris Callenso's only daughter, Seraphina Callenso as his empress. A/N: This is a rebirth story about one very fiery girl. She is sweet like sun-dried dates and soft like cotton wool to her family but, to her enemies, even the goddess herself cannot salvage them from the little she-devil.

My name is Demia Marie Johnson. My father is- was Grigori Damon Johnson I was seven when he remarried, before that I had never known a mothers love. I still don't, but she gave me a sister. My father used to read stories to Lucy and me when we were young. Our favorite was about the boy with the golden egg. 'There was once a Countryman who possessed the most wonderful Goose you can imagine, for every day when he visited the nest, the Goose had laid a beautiful, glittering, golden egg.' It's the one about life being more than what it seems. Or maybe I'm reading to much into it. It could be about the world's most expensive omelet.
