Cinderbrook is an outcast, a runaway. Driven from her short-sighted Clan, the young warrior is thrust into the wild on her own and left to die. That is until she meets Wildheart, an energetic tom with a surprising amount of notoriety in the forest. When confronted with awful horrors and injustices, Cinderbrook comes to learn that Wildheart is a member of the Cypress Legion, a Clan-esque organization of hero-type cats dedicated to helping others and keeping evil at bay.
With nowhere to go and her frustration growing, Cinderbrook reluctantly joins the Cypress Legion. But lending a helping paw will prove to be more difficult than she anticipated, especially when she's forced to take up arms against none other than her former Clan.
