In a far away realm located beyond the clouds, lived a special girl named Serenity Cornelia. A girl with a bright crazy personality, who'd always be getting in some type of trouble when she went looking for excitement and danger. A girl who was cursed by a pixie at the age of ten when she decided to go looking for that excitement down below in the realm of the humans.
Her mother didn't permit her going outside the palace walls for a long time after that. Once she did regain some freedom she told herself no matter how dull her life was in her realm, she wouldn't go back down there and risk her life again.
But when an opportunity presented itself, she just couldn't refuse. Serenity ended up on a tree branch in a quiet forest where she sees a human boy for the first time named Charlie Banks. From then on she'd sneak away to that tree and hear Charlie play songs on in his guitar almost everyday before the sun sets.
Five years later, Serenity gets up the courage to actually make herself known to him, posing as a human of course. She's then whisked away to his world of movie theaters, high school drama, harsh reality, and unexpected friends.
But what happens when all rifts to get back home become suddenly sealed off? What happens when all of the fae think that the pixies have kidnapped Serenity and a war begins to wage on? Will she with the help of her new friends, find a way to get back in time to stop it?

My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end.
