You were in your element when you stood on a stage. You could confidently sing the melody, serenely take the harmony, basking in the attention and relishing in the feel of your heels hitting the stage and the strain of your vocal cords.
You'd been singing for fours years, but the best career decision you'd made was joining up with Mettaton for several duets. You often performed with the monster, and he'd become your best friend, but despite his constant pestering you had yet to meet the rest of his friends.

I originally started this story in 2016, but never finished. I've recently regained my writing mojo, and decided to rewrite, edit and finish Can You Hear Me?.

I am not affiliated in any way with fangamer.com. This is my 1st story in a VERY long time. I like to do things a little different as far as reader inserts go. 1. Instead of Y/N for your name, I use _______. Why? Because when I'm reading a story and read Y/N I think Y/N and then have to remember the name of the character I've made in my head, where as if I see _____, I immediately replace it with the name because there is no word for me to read. Love it or hate it, comment. I can be persuaded if the masses disagree. 2. I don't do H/C, E/C, etc., because it does the same thing that Y/N does for me. Instead, I will be as vague as I can on insert character descriptions giving the reader more freedom to imagine what they look like without forcing it down their throats. 3. For undertale specifically, I am more inclined to make monster!reader inserts, because that makes more sense to me. This will not always be the case. If the masses prefers human!reader inserts, comment so that I may be persuaded to do so. Also, feel free to ask for requests. The more requests I get, the more inclined I will be to do more stories. They don't just have to be undertale related. I will give you credit for any requests at the beginning of the story.Concluída
