But he remained silent as the cops removed the boys from his life. He flinched as something touched his shoulder. As he looked back, he had the fleeting hope that it would be Dean, that he hadn't just been tossed into the back seat of a cop car. But instead, he came face to face with a deputy.

"Come on son, let's get you out of here." Castiel had learned to behave well while he was with Dean, but he couldn't go with the police. He had spent the past four years running from them after all. He knew that he should trust the men and women in blue, but all he wanted was the man with the emerald green eyes and a heavy leather jacket.
