But as when I started writing this fic, I was truly astonished at my writing and how impressive my brain power is. And I can sense how that experience has seeped into my psyche and is polluting my ability to trust people, and I have become more suspicious of the true motivations of those around me. I literally cannot tell if I was just naive before and am more realistic now, or if I was realistic before and have become cynical now. This does not define my political views, and who I am today.
