The Carr family are convinced the only way of survival is to head for the safe protection of England’s Royal Marine headquarters. The only problem is the Carrs’ live in the north east and the Royal Marin base is located in Plymouth, the south of UK.
As the Carrs’ trek to the south, they let nothing stand in their way and show no mercy; but after James Carr, the man of the family kills a defenceless couple they find at a petrol station, his only child and daughter Rose feels the need to save willing people to make up for their lives; and it doesn’t take long till the Carr’s come across an attractive 17 year old boy wandering by himself...

The Wildfire Virus. That's the illness the eggheads have called dubbed that has spread alarmingly fast all over the world. No could figure out at first how and where it came from or how even spread so quickly. I was on leave, visiting brother in Boston when the infection hit. Yesterday, the world was normal with its own conflicts. The next, millions get sick, hospitals are overwhelmed, and any sort of space was converted into a makeshift hospital to handle all the sick. On day 2 the sick died and awoke attacking the living. I tried to get out of the city, but the military closed off every major access point and now I'm trapped within, along with millions of undead.
