Damon Johnson, an aspiring software engineer, and Lenell Richards, a pre-med student, are now sophomores in college. They have a mutual connection, Lenell's ex-boyfriend, but have never met or seen each other until they spot each other in the dorm lobby. During this time, Damon's friends make a bet to see which one of the guys can get a girl to fall in love with them the fastest. Damon and Lenell begin to fall in love unexpectedly and hard, and their relationship begins to flourish. Soon, things begin to get difficult when Damon has to figure out how to avoid his friends knowing about Lenell, work through his past and insecurities, and navigate her ex. If he doesn't get it right, he can lose her.
