Lucian is a poor wolf, alone in a big town. Having no real family of his own, since his adopted family threw him out, Lucian feels as though he doesn't belong anywhere, and is forced to steal to stay alive. He tries to be honest as a thief, taking only what he needs, never anything extra or for greed. He sells what he manages to take, in exchange for mediocre amounts of food, and sometimes shelter. Lucian has barely kept himself alive, however, his life is about to change.

This is a short story I randomly wrote, and decided to post as my first story on Wattpad! 'Where I Belong' is about 7600 words, split into three parts for easier reading.

The Magical Stone
In a world during before modernization. There were only two huge major Kingdoms. One of them was a human kingdom and the other was an anthropomorphic. Humans and Anthros never knew each other until one day a human visited the anthro kingdom which caused them to mingle. However humans started to act prejudice and skeptical towards them just because they were different and bigger which caused the anthros to get fed up with their discrimination and insults. To avoid any conflict or violence, the two kingdoms built a wall between them to avoid any contact. The separation lasted for years until a five year human male disagreed to his kind that anthros are evil. He decided to run away from his abusive parents that were anthro murderers and crawled through a concealed hole in the wall and wanted to coexist with the different race. There was a legend that there was a magical stone that has very amazing power that any human or anthro that wanted for their wishes but it was really hidden. (Mature content. 18+ only. COMPLETED STORY The agony is like nothing I have ever felt before, I slide in and out of consciousness, I feel the strange sway of the two legged's walk as I am being carried through the woods, I wish to call out to my mate but I am weakened by the torments cast upon me. I have been laid down in the cold snow and my tormenter is digging in the frozen earth, I once again lose consciousness. The next time my eyes flutter open I have cold snow mixed with frozen dirt being thrown on my throbbing frame. I'm not sure what is going on. I'm freezing, hurt, and confused. I rouse to strange smells that are new to me, I'm colder than ever and something is definitely missing. I attempt to stand but immediately fall onto a fur covered ground, wait, fur... Where is my fur?!? Where did my tail go? Why do my paws look bare and have moving sticks coming out of them? Who stretched my legs out? What in tarnation happened to my fur? I guess that would explain why I'm cold. I begin to take in my surroundings, I am in a dead tree shelter but it looks completely different, there is a fire crackling near me but it does little to warm my bare skin, I'm startled by the sound of laughter, I look over and see a two legged is staring at me with a hint of humor in his eye. "You are very confused. I found you almost dead in a non descent grave. You were shot and bruised. I brought you here and made some... changes. It was the only way I could save you." The stranger explains. I don't really understand what he is saying, all I know is I want my fur back.Complete
