Something had changed within her, maybe it had always been there gnawing at the back of her mind. Clementine was sure of it now, she had to leave. She could no longer watch herself change with age all the while the love of her life stayed the same. She saw it when she looked into the mirror, her frail bones, and sunken eyes. Any more feedings and she would surely die, leaving Isaac distraught. Sure, she could stay for another 10 years or until she started to grey or wrinkle but with every passing day, her love and affection for her family would grow, and it would hurt 10 times more when she left.
