This is an online and open edition of my Independent Study Project for my 2018 Biology class. I told my teacher I'd post it alongside the copy I hand in. 

The year is 2110. Most of Mid and Southern North America is made up of big cities and farmland. Ellia Ryker is an Anthrozoologist currently studying the interactions between humans and birds so she travels up north, where there is one of the largest and only aviary populations left. Along her journey she gets caught up in an apparent murder case that appears to involve a large bird of prey that few people have seen before: the Raptor Jay. 

This case, leaving police confused and residents of the small town terrified, brings together Canada's best Wildlife Forensic Scientist, Dr  Marcus Talbot and new graduate Ellia to solve one of the strangest  deaths ever seen.All Rights Reserved

There had been missing cases happening around a small city in Maine, Eros, in which twenty-five missing cases had resulted into murder, all bodies being found, twisted in ways, covered in ink and some sort of rope that had materialized similar to octopus tentacles, wrapped around each individual body. The detectives working on the unexpected murders just concluded that everyone just dies from a new species of an animal, but in reality, it's something way different. It's caused by a very abnormal and twisted looking monster by the name of 'The Rippler.' There was only one group, the Numbskulls, that had been brave enough to even try and defeat 'The Rippler' as they had figured clues along the way for solving the murder cases. See Phillip 'Skullram' Lionel, the leader of 'Numbskulls', and his group along the troubles in both high school and other places, mainly their meeting spots as conflicts between members nearly take it a bit too far...

50 Million Years from Now by Landiahazak

I'm not the first one to write about speculative zoology, I was inspired by many books and tv shows which introduced the idea to me. Those which helped me the most with this project were H.G. Wells' Time Machine and Dougal Dixon's After Man. As well, I should mention the documentary style tv episodes The Future is Wild. With all these sources I was able to finally come up with my own story: Fifty Million Years from Now.

Whether it be the apex predator of its environment or a small creature at the bottom of the food chain, there's never a dull moment in the lives of these amazing creatures. Note: As time passes, there's a strong possibility that my book will becomes less accurate as we discover more and more about Earth's past.
