After the End: Ash and Stone. "Both were rather uncomfortable around the opposite gender, for rather similar but vaguely different reasons. Their past few years were bad, but they guessed their past years were better than the rest of humanity's past few years. At least they were alive. Neither much liked that fact." Two humans, whose experiences are worlds apart yet way too similar to one another's, fight and annoy each other while trying to get used to the idea of having to mate, for the sake of humanity. Note: There may be humor, but this is by no means a comedy. (Word Count so far: 3592)
