"Sometimes there is such beauty in awkwardness. There's love and emotion trying to express itself, but at the time, it just ends up being awkward. "

This isn't a love at first sight story, its an interest at first sight story

Its a story of a boy who was closed off from the world and the girl that broke his walls with a smile,
who knew something so awkward could turn into something so beautiful

"Elis be honest with me, am I weird?"

We were sitting in our spot, one headphone in my ear, the other in his, it was slightly windy and the sun had just started going down

I turned my head to look at him, waiting for the answer, only to find him already looking at me and in that rare moment he graced me with his real smile, the one I've only seen a handful of times, and for once he looked at peace when he answered

"Yeah, you are" he said seriously but then soon started chuckling when I hit his arm

"I'm being serious" I said while whining

"So am I, you are weird, and so am I, that's why we fit together so well" he spoke while looking at the sunset

I rested my head on his shoulder, admiring the beautiful scene in front of us

"like a puzzle"

he chuckled as he responded

"yup, like a puzzle"

And for that one moment we weren't two messed up awkward teens, we were just happy, we were just Elis and Claire
