When Jocelyn Kane's family home gets burned down, it takes several years for her family to piece things back together. Though through the years her mom and step-dad have fought over and over about her, afraid that she would end up just like her mom, pregnant at seventeen. Jocelyn's parents decide to send her to Lima, Ohio to live with her grandparents. It's her original hometown that bares a painful memory. It's also her junior year at McKinley High, and being the new girl she gets hit with a whirlwind. How will she survive?
