Just because Gerard Way and Frank Iero wind up sharing the same, shitty apartment in New York City doesn't mean they're going to get along.
After Frank finally conquers the most painful obstacle in his life and comes out as gay to his family, and most importantly, his girlfriend, he heads off for the city and (with living arrangements centered around Gerard) is faced with a whole new messed up world he wasn't expecting.
Gerard seems pretty simple. He's a jerk and unfortunately, as the way of the world seems to go, is stupidly attractive. Stubborn through running away, he becomes thrown by Frank in a way he wasn't expecting himself.
Despite the fact they're a lot like each other in a lot of ways... In others, they're complete opposites. So... is it true? Do opposites really attract?
Their circumstances, and personalities, make for some heated arguments and a constant pulling force that is the magnet of guaranteed, good sex. You win some, you lose some. But the question is: is it worth it? Despite the benefits of sex and company, do stubborn differences get in the way of making it work every time?
When attempting change becomes a reoccurring way of solving the problems at hand, the sincerity of that attempt to change has to be questioned. Is change even a permanent thing anyway?
One thing's for sure.
Nobody becomes happy easily.
