It was supposed to be an owl with a notice to go to a fun magical wizarding school and it was supposed to happen years ago.
Instead, Ilyana's college graduation gift is to learn and she and her twin Nathaniel are off to Sentinel Academy, or what she jokingly calls ghost guardian academy, where it's survival of the fittest and there's rules about not killing your classmates and teachers after sex.
Oh yeah. That they needed to put that particular rule into writing is terrifying. Not that she's in any danger of finding out, but in fact, it's all terrifying, all the time. Including the part where she thinks the academy just might be where she was meant to be.
