The Guardians are back along with all of their new friends. Pitch and Mother Gothel have been defeated for good. Or so they thought. Turns out, they're on the loose, and they threaten to take over the most magical place on Earth: The Emerald City.

Princess Anneliese has always longed for adventure and freedom, to cast away her royal life and explore the world around her. But her mother has other ideas, and as a royal, she has a duty to her kingdom. Looks like freedom will have to wait until after she's married of to some prince she's never met.

It seemed that their lives would intersect at some point, but it doesn't happen the way they had planned.

And two of them won't make it to the end.
