I look at my reflection in the water. My flesh wasn't rotting, in fact my skin looked flawless as if I just went to the spa. My eyes were purple and my hair was almost to the floor. Wait purple? A glowing purple. Why purple? I have blue eyes usually but I was bit by a zombie. Why aren't they red?

I was lying down with my eye closed but i couldn't feel what I was lying on. I didn't feel like i'm floating nor falling. I opened my eyes but it was all black. I put my hand in front of my face. Even with the darkness surround me but I could still see my hand. Where am I?Complete

"Cold metal was the first thing that I felt against my skin. Then came the sensation of being strapped down by my wrists and ankles. Why was I strapped down? My eyes blinked open slowly, in a daze. I saw men and women in surgical gear running around wildly. The blare of alarm pierced the fog around my mind and I saw emergency lights flashing. What was happening? I saw a woman, her brown eyes wild with fear, undo the straps on my wrists and legs. My head fell to the side and I witnessed one man pounce on the other, then a squirt of blood shoot high into the air as the first man bit into the others neck. I couldn't move without serious concentration, and even then, I could only move a little. I was helpless as I lay on this metal table. I knew that I was going to die. I was an easy target. I closed my eyes, waiting for the inevibility of the man to attack me. Nothing came though, and when I cracked my eyes open, I was alone in the room. What? Just then, I heard a loud bang and I saw a man with a gun burst through the door, an infected woman, the one who had just untied me, leaping at him. They fell into the table I was on, and the entire thing flipped. I was tossed onto the ground, landing hard. My head cracked against the concrete and everything went black, and the last sound I heard were the man's screams."Complete
Zombie girl
I'm exactly as the title says. I'm part zombie and part girl. My birth parents are humans, and Seabrook is all about cheer. My biological sister will be a Freshman just like me in high school and cheer is in her blood. Would've been in mine too had I grown up on that side. But, no even though my sister has silver hair, my parents said they'd cover hers her up, but me with my purple natural hair, not even Zombie green.... They said purple would be too hard to hide. I was only 8 years old, never craved brains, have bright blue eyes, but bright purple hair. I guess that's the part that made me a zombie. The Government people took me away by my parents orders, then brainwashed my twin sister, and the rest of my family to forget about me. Unfortunately they didn't brainwash me. Boy am I lucky?! But, it's not all bad news my zombie foster family is nice, my brother wants to go out for football, he's my best friend, and I've got an adorable little sister who is my most prized possession. If someone is a 'thing', automatically presume them dead, or at least soon to be dead. It will always take about 2 weeks to become fully changed, hopefully you can chop of that body part in time for the infection to stop. If you can't, put an end to your soon to be painful and horrible turn/death. These beings as I announced only a moment ago, look exactly like a human, two way to tell if they are one or not, their attitude and their eyes. They don't have emotions, only hunger and let me tell you, they will go out of their way to eat you, they will speak but it will sound different... Deformed almost. The eyes are usually the first to become infected, they become slightly red at first, as time progresses so does the intensity of the color red in the eye. The color in their eyes they once possessed, will seem dull, it will seem as if they are unfocused or unfamiliar with their surroundings. F*** Cancer, This One Did Us All In.
There's not a lot that can freak me out in this world. Only large animals with sharp claws, too many people touching me, bullies, hives, horror movies, sitting underneath fans or lights or anything that dangles from a ceiling, glass or wooden bridges, my mother, mosquitoes, public situations, taking a shower with nobody in the house, taking a shower with too many people in the house and crocks. Oh, and zombies. Zombies is definitely on that list. It's almost a shame too, that I have to race through a city packed full of them to find my missing family. Packed full of zombies, by the way, not crocks. (Although I don't know which situation is worse.) Now I have to not only keep my feeble body alive, but also protect (or be protected by) my two best friends in the entire world as we all try to survive in a city packed with the Dead.Complete
