A short story. Two People. Ex-bestfriends. One is a doctor, Another is the hospital MD. She can't wait to shoot him with words, he can't stop her from doing anything. He feels responsible and she's the most irresponsible person you'll find. "If you call three bites of a sandwich and eleven cups of coffee a meal then I did have one" she yawned, leaning back against the backrest. "You're addicted to caffeine" he mumbled, ordering something for them both in his cabin. "Can you stop mumbling under your breath? I'm already trying hard not to dose off here" she said with drooping eyes. "You really flip Sana Qureshi, one second you were fighting now you can't sit straight. Will you be normal anytime soon?" Apocalypse: The Healer's Story
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to wake up in a body that wasn't yours? I can't say that I had ever given it much thought. That was until one night when a patient entered the ER where I was working at and shot me point blank in the head. You know, if he wanted a second opinion, all he had to do was ask. But that's besides the point... Some how, some way, I work up in a strange hospital with a woman that looked suspiciously like my mother holding my hand and crying. THE GAMES WE PLAY
I was not a studious girl when I was forced into medical field because of my father who always expected the best from me. I didn't realize becoming doctor became so dear to me that it turned into a passion instead of a escape from my broken family and that's when I saw him again.. He made my heart beat a little faster but broke it just as everyone did and left me 5 years ago without any warning and stormed back in my life without one too. It was decided that i won't let him ruin me again but chip by chip the walls of my heart fell away seeing his efforts and that Infuritaingly handsome face. Should I let him in my life giving him a chance to prove himself? Or stick to the stereotype of "all men are same"? " I loved you" She whispers, the hand I'm holding cold against my skin. I stroke the skin with my thumb once, trying to get her eyes on me and then she looks at me. Hurt eyes look at me and in that moment I wanted her to look away because of the hurt evident in her eyes. After 4 years, seven days and something hours, she finally looked at me. "I know." I whisper back. "You still left me alone to fend for myself." My grip tightens on her hand. "I know. But I want to make things right. Do you think you can give me one chance?. " Ps: this story is of Isha mehra, sister of ishan, the main lead of my previous story, the setting of both the books is completely different and they are not interconnected. But if you want to have a better sense of characters that might be same as the previous book, you should read that first and then continue with this. But it can also be read as a standalone. I'm writing this in hopes that it helps someone who is going through something similar or has had a similar experience. In this book, some chapters may be long some may be short. It's going to talk about my experience with marriage, a relationship that followed after I separated from the ex husband, and a major event in 2024 that not only turned everything upside down, but opened my eyes and mind up to things I knew were there, but didn't think to much of. Heaven On Earth
It seems like just yesterday I was saved. Not knowing what to do next or where I should go. Little by little I had to find my way and put together the lessons I was taught from different sources to seemingly lead a holy life. My supreme happiness came from when I found Jesus. Little did I know all I had to do was dwell in his heart and he would provide me with the wisdom I need and show me the things I could only fantasize about. Things like these seemed to me too precious to keep hidden, and that's when I knew I just had to share Who He is to the whole world. Visions, testimonies, miracles and more came knocking at my door leading me into a dose of Heaven on Earth. Blue Roses for My Bride series: Book 1 NOTE I am not a writer, but I do enjoy writing. He woke up in an unfamiliar place, all he remembered from the day before as he was about to fall asleep was that he was reading a book "The Birth of a Hero". Cale thought while looking towards the ceiling. «It's not like I miss my old life.» There really wasn't much. In addition to being an orphan and penniless, he also developed anemia during his teenage years due to poor nutrition. --- Cale thought about his so-called plans while slowly closing his eyes in satisfaction. The Indestructible Shield. Cale thought of this first formless force that he was going to acquire. As he was organizing his plans, he suddenly opened his eyes and a severe headache overwhelmed him. In his panic he got up from his chair but his vision was blurred. He quickly tried to hold on to the desk with one hand, the other being on his head, although he did so, he still ended up passing out.
