It Started in the Woods ((ON HOLD))

Jaelyn may be a young and small eight-year-old girl, but her mind is strong and intelligent. Though many specific events have taken place in her life, Jaelyn has learned to adapt to the mysterious world around her. Her favorite place to be was deep in the forest, where she has grown to withhold these strange powers to be able to communicate with and feel the emotions and thoughts of animals. Jaelyn claimed the huge Salmon-Challis forest in the outskirts of her home state, Idaho. Well, that is after she used to live in an actual house. Jaelyn's mother died when she was six, but she doesn't know how. It seems her horrible father wants to keep that a secret from her. Her father wasn't the greatest of people. After her mother died he blamed it on Jaelyn and soon began physically beating and abusing her. Soon after two years of this torture, Jaelyn decided it was finally the right time for her to try and make her escape. She's claimed the woods as her home since then, but what happens when she one day realizes she's not alone? What happens when she finds a giant robot in the middle of the woods? Will this discovery change her life forever? Or will her life end up in danger and end right there and then?
