Just what it sounds like. An AU in which the Gaang's gender has been reversed. When Katasi and his older sister Sokka discover a girl frozen within an iceberg, they find Aang, the long lost Avatar and very last remaining one of her race, the Air Nomads. A hundred years have passed since she'd disappeared, resulting in the Fire Nation attacking and spreading their war throughout the world as they conquered nation after nation, now under the rule of Fire Lord Ozai. Now it's up to the Water Tribe siblings to make sure Aang learns all four elements so she can defeat him and bring back the peace and balance.

So Katasi, the last waterbender in the South Pole, Sokka, and Aang set off on their journey to help her master the elements, but one constant problem cuts into their path at every opportunity. Banished Crown Princess Zuleika of the Fire Nation is hellbent on regaining her honor by capturing the Avatar herself and returning home, and nothing would stop her...

At the age of ten, she lost her mother in a Fire Nation raid, right at the South Pole; all she has left is her mother's necklace, which Katara wears around her neck. After that, her father left to fight in the Hundred Year War, along with all the other grown warriors, and Makki and her siblings were put under the care of their Gran Gran. She grew up practicing her bending and helping Katara with all the chores, while their brother practiced his fighting skills and tried teaching the younger boys of their village. Makki's siblings followed their destiny of helping Aang master all four elements while Makki was stuck on a path with the Fire Nation Prince Zuko and his uncle Iroh. After being betrayed by the prince, Makki joined her siblings on their journey of helping Aang. But soon enough, Zuko figures out that his destiny is to join with Aang's group and to teach him fire bending. In the beginning, Makki couldn't believe Zuko's change, but he promised himself that he would make it up to her and prove to her that he's truly changed and that he loves her. If I could officially write a canon story that would allow Zukka to happen it would be this one and it takes place right after the comics. The New Ozai Society has once again been reformed but this time by a new familiar leader. During the Fire Festival Fire Lord Zuko hosts one of Team Avatar's members gets kidnapped. The rest of Team Avatar goes on a journey to save them. During their journey Katara unlocks a new terrifying ability in a life threatening fight, which completely reveals the hidden secrets exposed in Legend of Korra. Meanwhile on the journey Zuko and Sokka grow so close, unclear by what they might discover forced to look into themselves and find a brand new meaning of what love truly is. Once everyone thinks the journey is over something way worse occurs which may result in another World War. The positive and horrendous things discovered by Team Avatar will shape the future of not just the Fire Nation, but the whole world. Disclaimer: There will be serious topics being discussed, violence, and some sexual activity.

They never remembered each other when they where young, she was just some girl with her family visiting his home, he was just some boy who was there. But years later when the avatar is found and retrieved by prince Zuko, he returns home as he dreamed, redeemed by his father after three years but it doesn't mean the wars over. In desperate need to protect both water tribes, yue is already engaged but the Chiefs daughter of the southern water tribe is forced to marry the eldest and only son of the fire nation for an alliance between the two, for the fire nation to stay away from the water tribe. Katara hates it there, the heat, the red, the gold, especially the gold, it reminded her of the princes eyes, a man she hates she's forced to marry. But what if he is just as miserable as she is? He just wanted to be home. He finally got it but is continued to be terrorized in his own palace.

This story takes place after the war has settled. Aang and Katara finally together, Zuko the firelord, Sokka being,...well Sokka, Toph happy and never to return home, and the nations were finally at peace. When team Avatar decides to return to the southern water tribe to visit Sokka and Katara's family, they end up bringing Zuko along, giving him a well deserved break of running the fire nation. However, feelings start to make themselves known. Feelings that Aang doesn't like, little does he know he ends up pushing Katara into the arms of the edgy firebender, which was the last thing he was trying to do. Will this new romantic relationship tear team Avatar apart? Will it make them stronger? Will Katara's new found heated relationship be accepted by her tribe? Can the group move past it, and continue on? Will Aang ever get over Katara and find someone new? Knowing it's never easy ridding the feeling of that first love. And one of the most importance will Zuko find his mother? On a different note Azula, the sister of the new firelord, has been in prison for quite some time, there is obviously no way of her being released on good behavior. She plans to escape and find Tai Lee and Mai and "ask" them once again to join her side and take her revenge on her brother Zuko, Katara, their friends, and the Avatar. And plans to overthrow and take over the fire nation, feeling that her father apparently wasn't strong enough to hold his place.
