Max Klink. A fairly normal young man who plays vigorous D&D matches with his friends, tries ( and fails ) at doing his best, and is fairly indifferent when it comes to the prospect of graduation.
He knows he is just another pawn in a really fucked up game of chess that lost most its peices, not as important as the king or knight. But what he didnt expect, was that he was about to meet the perspective of someone who wasn't quite on the gameboard.

Weigh Out Way-In
There is an unexpected turn in the story that drastically changes the course of events and, in the long run, even the lives of those involved. Magpie, the first to be involved, suddenly finds himself in the world so unlike his own. Will he find his place there or will he be at least able to go back home? He seems to find his way back from this new world of giga-dimensions but something unwanted happens, and things go worse. The cultural differences, together with a challenging personality traits of another involved in the events, suck Magpie and his friends into a downward spiral. The story challenges you to see the world differently from the perspective you are perhaps too used to and narrowed by. Life can be an adventure if you don't narrow it with a bigotry that forces you to be rooted in your trenches and behind your dividing walls. This doesn't mean you have to accept others' views without standing your ground. However, to be able to share our lives in this one and only world we need to make compromises, on both sides. Are you the first brave one to set this positive trend in motion? So read on and let the foundation of the story be laid. From the end of episode 1 on, the story really picks up, finally reaching its climax at the end of episode 3 with quite a surprising finish. Your participation in solving this shared challenge of coexistence and cooperation is highly appreciated. Remember those who cooperate make more progress than those who don't! An Unexpected Moment
... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. After spending the day trying to gain control of her confused mind, she could no longer stand being alone in this freaky situation. Her best friend, Chloe, might have been her best bet for someone to share this information with. She just wanted to get it off her chest and she was prepared to be called crazy by everyone who heard word of Max claiming to have time travel powers, she was even prepared to be called crazy by her best friend. When I slammed my locker shut and turned to see Toby standing there, watching me, I jumped in fright and dropped my bag. Talk about speaking of the devil. I picked it up quickly before he could and said a rushed "hi" before turning to leave. But Toby pulled me back to him making my flustered countenance change and I was suddenly defensive. I pulled away and made a face. "Do you need something or something?" I questioned him. "Relax," he said. "Are you in a hurry?". He sounded so sweet. And why was he looking down at me so innocently? "I'm not", I said with a shake of the head. He seemed very polite so I instantly felt bad for being rude. "What's up?". "You're Harvey, right? Harvey Celestine?". I nodded. "You're Maria's friend". "To the point, Meyers". I was quickly becoming bored. Toby looked surprised for a moment, although I didn't know why. But then, he smiled a little. "You left your geography note and textbook in class and that wouldn't do considering the fact that we have a geography test tomorrow". I immediately switched up and started thanking him profusely. All my sticky notes and reminders were in there. He smiled and waved it off before turning to leave. When I got home, Maria gave me a phone call, squealing like a child. "Toby invited me to his birthday party this Saturday!". I pulled the phone away from my ears to protect myself from the extra scream that came after that. "He said you could come too". His brother came back home to make sure he is doing everything he is supposed to. There's just one problem that could ruin him being set for life. He made a bet with his best friend that he couldn't make Korinna to ever trust or like him ever again enough to sleep with her. Now he has to make sure he wins and that his brother doesn't find out. Korinna is curvy is gonna turn eighteen a couple of months before graduation and she can't wait because that way she can go away to college and leave behind her life here. Everyone knows that her father died when she was little and was now living with her alcoholic step mom that hates her guts and his blowing all the money that Korinna was supposed to be getting but hasn't. After an incident that happened years before, she has shut down and tries to keep to herself as she is bullied constantly. He's someone who often feels misunderstood, both by his family and the world around him. He's introspective and struggles to connect with others. the family was on a three-hour drive to Grandma's birthday. The morning was filled with the usual chaos of a busy household, with Jess rushing to pack and making sure everything was ready for the trip. Nathan, already packed and waiting patiently, had a relaxed attitude, dressed in a hoodie and jeans with his long black hair slicked back and a faint goatee, which earned him a critical look from his mom, Jess, who didn't like his style. As they loaded the car, Mark double-checked everything, while Jess made sure nothing was forgotten. During the car ride their car broke down in the forest, Nathan wandered off and discovered a hidden village. The villagers initially appeared hostile but eventually spared his parents. While his family adapted quickly-his mother becoming a caregiver and his father earning respect as a hunter-Nathan struggled to adjust. Life in the village felt foreign, and he struggled with survival skills. Assigned a harsh mentor, Nathan faced frustration and mistreatment but showed persistence. After standing up to bullies, he earned some respect, and his mentor began to soften, though Nathan still felt like an outsider, unsure if he would ever belong, Nathan never thought what his life will be like in the next 10 years. Full of journeys and unexpected turns he never thought would come true, He just wants to go home....
