Jetsam: |'jetsem|NOUN unwanted material or goods that have been thrown overboard from a ship to make the vessel lighter and washed ashore.

Everyone has some sort of baggage, some sort of jetsam per say. Something that they wish to throw away, to help them stay a float as they wade through the treacherous waters we call life.

Growing up in a small town was something Delilah loved, although the constant smell of sea salt and fish wafted through the air it was something Delilah was content with. Growing up and raised by her father, a local fisherman, Delilah had learned to let things go and continue on with her life. All was well in Delilah's rocky life until one day a green eyed stranger name Alden waltz into town, the wave that finally sends Delilah over board.
