I was breathing hard by the time I felt the hands grabbing me, trying to rip my flesh apart. They pulled me down with their weight. I screamed. I felt them sinking their teeth into my flesh as I screamed louder, not caring if more came, as I was already going to die.
I suddenly felt them being pulled off me. I sat up and saw man killing the zombies that were just piling on me. As the man turned around I noticed that he looked like he couldn't be much older than me, maybe 21. He had blood all over him but I don't imagine I look any better. He walked over to me and stuck out his hand to help me up. I took him up on his offer.
After I stood up I noticed how many zombies truly were after me, there were maybe 10 or 12 bodies laying on the ground. I looked at the man and suddenly realized that I was bit and if he didn't leave soon I could end up attacking him, though I doubt that he will have any problems with being able to protect himself.
"You need to leave. I don't want to hurt you." He just laughed at that and came closer to me inspecting my arms that looked horrible with bite marks all over them. All of the sudden I felt really dizzy, next thing I know is I'm on the ground. That's when the seizures hit

Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. This is a complete story that is much like life; fast, full of surprises, and not always how we want it to be. This has been a project of mine for over three years. The friends in this story are trying to make names for themselves, figure out who they are, who they can trust, how to love, and how to separate themselves from a restrictive community. It will be uploaded as a brand new book so feel free to check it out, please be aware it might differ slightly from this book as it is only taking inspiration from it Many thanks for all the reads this book has brought and with high hopes for the rewrite i bid you goodbye ----------------------------- Everything seemed to go silent as I heard them breaking through the door before anyone else, adrenaline pumped through my body as i jumped up and pulled out my machete. i ran over to help the group protect the others but realised that there was too many zombies to take on , my heart beating so fast, i turned around, grabbed Rose and went running over to the window. i looked down and saw the breath taking jump to the next building making me fear what was coming next and that was our only escape. i turned around, slicing a zombies head right off its neck , protecting Wen from getting bitten. As she swung her axe right over my head , hitting another zombie square in the head, sending a spray of blood all over the back of me. "We have to jump!" i screamed at everyone at the top of my lungs, i looked around to find at least 75% of our group either eaten or eating some one else. i knew i was being too slow in making my decisions, but all i could concentrate on was the sound of my heart beating in my chest. i pulled nicol to the floor and away from the zombie that nearly chewed off her head and watched her send a knife into its head with what seemed no effort at all. Then i turned and moved quicker than i have before to stop the zombie that i saw coming for me from the corner of my eye, i stopped dead in my tracks as my heart sank into the bloody stream of my circulation of life. Nightmares (Complete)
Winter and her two sisters, Alyssa and Nalla, finally accept the true nature of the apocalypse. but only when a zombie attacks, and bites one of their own. spoilers: I ran into the zombie, arm first, pushing it down before the woman was bitten. I glanced up at her, watching her run with a small smile. That is about the time i realized i was still wrestling a zombie. I looked back at it, but it was to late, it's teeth were wrapped around my arm, blood oozing from it's mouth. I held my breath to stop my scream, shoving the zombie away, jumping back with a small gasp. I am a zombie now. I felt tears spring to my eyes, and i let them roll down my face. For some reason, one thought went through my head. I need to hide. The Backpacker's Dream
'No, he didn't'. I was so shocked by the turn of events. Everything was going fine and then suddenly boom, everything turned upside down. I just couldn't believe this. What did he think of himself? 'Leave me alone.' I said firmly but his hold on me was so strong. I was struggling to get out of his bear hold but to no avail. 'Oh!! So, the poor lady thinks that I will leave her alone and just let her go free?' He had that evil laugh and boy, his breath stank. 'Man, you just signed your death warrant and I will do one favour on you.' No one messes with me. 'Ooooh, I am so scared that I almost peed my pants.' Again that idiotic laugh. I counted till 5 and then kicked right in his balls. I turned around and grabbed his hair from roots, jerked them so badly and then gave my hard elbow shot on his chin. Everything happened so fast for one moment he was standing and the other lying on floor wiggling. I charged at him with my cheetah speed, picked up a wooden rod and started hitting him wildly, 'You idiotic stinky breath was trying to steal my backpack. You are so dead.' 'Favour, favour, favour.' He was screaming in pain just after few seconds and was panting hard. I picked my paste from my bag and threw at him, 'Brush your teeth.' I was fuming. I turned around and saw him standing wide-eyed, 'Hi, I am Scarlett.' I smiled showing my 32 teeth. 'I am scared.' His look puzzled me. The Revelation
In the beginning, there was death. All this time, I hopelessly remained devoted to a ghost who had given the best of himself to a fiery red-head with a sassy personality and the body of a supermodel. For 10 years, I held to the desperate thought that maybe, just maybe, he'd be someone I could count on. Instead, I watched him marry my best friend, smiled as they welcomed their son. Stood, holding that beautiful boy as his mother was in the first round of executions after the beginning of the Revelation. Helped heal Will's wounds in the aftermath. Back by popular request! The 2017 rough draft of The Virus Within! (Caution: Contains massive plotholes that were fixed in the polished The Virus Within Series. Grammar issues are present, particularly missing commas.) What do you do when you are one of the infected? The virus in my blood is trying to steal my humanity. It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test. -------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book. It has nothing to do with A Different Virus. I wanted to try a book with an easily irritated main character and a nutcase secondary character. This book has a slightly darker outlook at the beginning than my usual stories, but it has some humor further along. "Trust me. You are safe." He held out his hand, and I broke eye contact. Looking down at his hand I noticed his naked skin. His body tensed; it was as if he could sense my attraction the instant I felt it. "I'm sorry." I said looking away as I realized I had been starring. "It isn't anything to be embarrassed about. It's an animal instinct. It's natural. Humans only suppress it because they think it's rude. It isn't." He didn't say it like he was bragging but instead with a reassuring confidence about him. "It's actually extremely attracting when a female shows arousal outright." I was shocked; he described me like a lioness in heat. Almost as if my attraction to him was a sign saying 'come get me.'
