Meet Jennifer Anderson. She's not your typical werewolf with dark hair and dark eyes. In fact, she has sea green eyes and long, hip-length blonde hair. To top it all off, her mother is a mermaid so therefore, Jennifer has water powers. Additionally, her father is Alpha of the Nightshade pack (which is the most powerful pack in America) and she is the only child, next to be Alpha. She's a kind, smart, and funny person but she is not popular in school because of everything that sets her apart. She has some friends but not that many and she has never had a boyfriend nor has fallen in love.

Enter Jonathan Maxfield. Gorgeous captain of the soccer team and stereotypical popular Barbie boy except for his incredible intelligence and sarcasm, and the fact that he is a werewolf. He is the son of the Beta of the Nightshade pack and has one younger brother and a younger sister. Additionally, he has a strong hatred for Jennifer for which nobody knows the cause, including Jennifer and Jonathan's parents.

So what happens when these two young people find that they are mates?
Will Jonathan and Jennifer fight the bond that all mates have or will they eventually come together? And if Jonathan rejects her, everyone else will reject her as Alpha so will she be accepted until she dies or will she be rejected?
