Nineteen year-old Aimer Madison spends her days feeding her caffeine addiction, feuding with her family, and robbing banks. Of course, she would be a billionaire by now if only all of the money she steals with her band of thieves didn't go directly towards coffee, her sister's college fund, or financing the criminal activities of the mafia boss extorting her into robbing banks for a living. And if that wasn't complicated enough, Aimer is hiding a huge secret from the world: she has superpowers. Yes, literal superpowers. Not that anyone believes they exists (except, you know, the other people in the world who have superpowers), but still, keeping a low profile is pretty essential for her. At least, it was until an impossible video of her using her powers to rob a bank is somehow released onto the Internet. Conspiracy theorists come crawling out of the woodwork, half of the country thinks it's fake, the other half is combing through recent history to find other unexplained events and explain them with imaginary superpowers! Thankfully, a handful of nut jobs isn't enough to totally derail Aimer's crooked life, but the FBI showing up on her doorstep is. Not to mention the fact that her mafia benefactor and crooked bank-robber handler seem to be hiding something from her, something about her powers and how they plan to use them for their own means. Between avoiding government incarceration and experimentation, betrayal by the criminal underworld claiming to need her gifts, and completely destroying any semblance of a relationship she has with her sister, Aimer has a lot to struggle with. But she can't let anyone connect the dots between the tiny sliver of her face on the viral video and her identity, otherwise everything she spent the last two years sacrificing for would be void. Her family would be in danger, she would lose her freedom, and worst of all, her sister would lose her life.
Sigh, it must be Tuesday.
Season 4 of The Virus Within
Trinity is familiar with zombies, being one herself, but when strange zombies start appearing, she realizes that the world she knew might be changing yet again.
When a dangerous set of scientific notes are discovered, Trinity and her friends don't realize anything is wrong until a frantic radio call comes in. Unaware of the notes, they race to the south and struggle to determine where the strange zombies came from. The zombies are unlike any ranks previously seen, and they aren't as predictable. Some have new tricks hidden up sleeves, forcing any Stronghold they encounter to quickly adapt to the new challenge or risk being overrun. Secrets never remain hidden, and zombie apocalypses never make life easy.
