Two lives that were not supposed to be combined, suddenly collided. Two boys, one a royal, the other a runaway. Luck or fate brought them together and keeps them bound to one another. But many hardships stand in their way, even one big one that seems to loom over their heads and could mean life or death.
[Also known as an Altean and Galra AU where Keith is a Galra runaway and Lance is an Altean prince. At the beginning of the story they will be children and then another chapter they will be a little older and then finally young adults. There will also be some smut, but probably not as descriptive, I haven't really decided yet but here is a warning just in case.]

Lance is fed up. In all his years, he has only known life inside the Castle of Lions. As he described it, a prison cell disguised as an extravagant home for the royal. He longs to get away, but his newly crowned sister, Allura, won't have it. So, against her younger brother's wishes, she hires a bodyguard to keep him 'safe' inside the castle. But, the new guard turns out to be... odd. Not quite Altean, not quite Galran. Compared to Lance and the rest of the empire, one could say Keith has many strange differences. *** "So..." Lol, first Klance! Hope you all enjoy! Keith has been haunted since he fought with the Druid. His hand... It just healed... That wasn't a normal thing. Then Zarkon... The emperor told Keith he fought similar to his Galran soldiers. That had honestly scared him. So when the paladins are reunited after being spread throughout space, he tries to hide his insecurities and fears and pain. However, he can't hide it for long. A Voltron zombie apocalypse AU! This story was inspired by Alan Walker's Faded(I dont own any rights to that) it's amazing! His wardrobe in the incredible video really spoke "Keith" to me if that doesnt sound too weird. Anyway I called it Stay because the whole premise to me is everything is fading away, everything they know is gone, society, family, friends, it's all gone. Stay comes into play because they need to stay alive, it could be someone asking someone else to stay with them in a certain way, or at all. it could be about staying human and not letting the way things are change you. who knows! So everyone is human here, and everyone either works at or goes to Garrison. Of course I have klance here, and several other ships. There will be some gore, swearing, SMUT, fluff, violence and feels. For the record I own absolutely nothing! All credit for voltron goes to the writers and studio, all art that will be used is credited to their original owners/ artists. This is a popular AU especially in the Voltron universe, so I apologize if its crap compared to others, or if it's too similar to others. I personally havent read any but I loved the concept! Voltron and OC AU called Crystal Faith. Everything seems to be going just fine in Shiro's life. He's a senior officer at the Galaxy Garrison (Crystal Core) along with his fiancé Adam and his daughter just enrolled as a cadet. But he keeps having nightmares and it's starting to mess with him. There's a battle with the Galra on Earth that leaves everyone shaken, but leaves Shiro in worse conditions than before. (Voltron is not necessarily a part of this story.) None of the art is mine. (Shiro is a winged lion, Adam is human, Pidge is half Altean, and half Galren, Holly is a weird, human thing with wings, Iantha is a catfolk, Lance is human, Luna is a werewolf, Percy is human, Keith is half galra, Krolia is a full Galra and that's about it.) (Krolia is NOT Keith's mother in this AU, Pidge is Shiro's adopted daughter, Adam doesn't die, and Holly, Iantha, Percy and Luna are NOT my OCs. They belong to a very good friend of mine.) Because the spiral light shattered, the Crystal Core was formed, and the Galra have been invading peaceful planets to them more power for the empire, and all that stuff. So Crystal Bearers are sent out on missions, freeing captured planets, freeing prisoners, recruiting new Crystal Cadets, stopping space piracy and other junk like that. Forgotten
Earth is saved from the Galra, and the Paladins of Voltron are the heroes of the Galaxy Garrison, well all except for Keith. He'd been kicked out before the war, and they didn't want him back. He's alone again. Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the backstory of some characters. I do not own any of the characters in this story, and I do not own any of the artwork. There is smut, swearing, talk of rape, and self-harm in the story. I will not be putting disclaimers at the beginning of the chapters, so if you don't want to read it, move on to another story.
