Long after the Racosan war, a new Governmental force was founded in the ashes of catastrophe. The Galactic Imperium includes every known sentient galactic power, and is meant to stand its ground against unknown threats. For hundreds of years this power has stood strong.
Technology has changed and advanced, and with that so has life. One major development lead to the banishment of artificial intelligence, another banished the Arc FTL drive. One thing is certain about the new age, time is running out and things are not as they seem.

When the world was burnt by the sun some groups of people were ready and build special compounds called Bases. They set bases up all over the globe and waited for the fire of the sun. When it came they hadn't anticipated the extent of solar power. Their power sources were ruined and they knew that they wouldn't survive long without them. Some people left to take their chances in the new wild but those who were left spent hours pondering solutions as the power dwindled and the life-force faded. Only when the people who were left out to face the sun found the bases did they find a solution.
