Each of those children are taken away at birth by the government and returned to their parents on their tenth birthday with no memory of what happened before. The oldest sister Meg (21) has dreams and visions about the world's near future. She's also very intuitive. Perhaps if she were better at seeing her own future maybe her personal life wouldn't be in shambles?
