Due to overpopulation, only 100 children are allowed to be born every day. Each of those children are taken away at birth by the government and returned to their parents on their tenth birthday with no memory of what happened before. Only this ten year old girl remembers everything, including her own birth, and these people aren't her parents. She soon realizes that there is a great and terrible power within her that she doesn't know how to control. It seems this beast that humanity has been trying to keep caged away in their children has finally slipped it's leash.

~Are you afraid of Monsters?~ For as long as she could remember, Angelica Foster has wanted a family. Bouncing in and out of foster care, she had long since given up the idea of her real family coming to rescue her and instead turned to making her own family. And she almost got it. She had the serious boyfriend, the cute little house, the good job and good friends she'd trust to take care of any future children if something were to happen to her. And then ~it~ showed up. The monster in the shadows that followed her everywhere constantly asking her to be her friend. Angelica was certain she was going crazy and did everything she could to get rid of it. Priests, holy water, voodoo rituals, but still it wouldn't leave. When Angelica's boyfriend can't handle what's going on with her and breaks up with her, she's determined to hold onto everything she has left. So she decides to play this monster's game... quite literally. Now Angelica has the house, she has the job and she has a supernatural roommate and is collecting more as time goes on. But having monsters for roommates brings a whole different kind of problems. Like how to feed them, how to keep them from bothering the neighbors with haunting shenanigans, and, how suddenly she's getting more and more visits from local police. Angelica is going to find out that family is what you make it. And monsters, well, they need love too.
