I waited. Tense and behind the curtain to the dimply lit stage. I recited my lines over and over as if my life depended on it and, honestly, my life really did. He loved to see me dance, see my body twist, slide, flow with the music and beat as my soul would be taken over by the rhythm and I too loved it when he watched me, when his cloudy grey eyes stared at me from the back seats where he could see me best, However... That was not now. He wasn't here. He will never be here.
He was a drug... I should leave it alone... But I want more.

The ecstatic insanity of romantic pursuit can be so enhanced by music that entire romantic conquests, victories and ruinous, crushing defeats can be tied to songs to such a degree that it's almost unbearable to listen to them again, as they bring back the memories so vividly.

This story was inspired by The 1975's new album; A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships.
Zaavan is a young boy aged 20. At 10 he became one of the worlds most famous dancers and at 16 was a billionaire, however, upon meeting a man who went by Xander at 17 he disappeared, changed his name and was forever changed, and, not for the better at that.

However, along comes Wyatt and there's only one question left to ask- Will he help Zaavan? Will Zaavan finally regain hope of a future and be able to dance again? Love again?
