"I don't think you get it, Eli. I'm not a damsel in distress you can save anymore. There is no bad guy for you to beat up. Not anymore. So why the hell are you still here?"

Reese is a werewolf. She doesn't know who or where her mate is. All she knows is that she loves a man in her pack. When he turns around and says he loves her too, what could go wrong?

Jump a year and she's in the slums of New York, sharing an apartment with five other rogue wolves. Damien and Eli are still looking for her. Damien gets a lead and manages to track her down, but she ends up challenging him. After showing that she could easily kill him, she walks away and tells him to stay away. Her old alpha shows up, trying to talk her down, bring her back, but Reese is hurt too deeply.

The only question now, is how far will that hurt carry her?

39 parts Complete

Damien is the Alpha of his pack at the young age of 22. He doesn't take crap from anyone and everyone knows not to mess with him. The last thing he wants is more responsibility or commitment in his life so when he accidently bites a girl his whole world come crashing down. He thinks he can fix it by making her forget the night just like all the other girls he bite but when it doesn't work he finds out that this girl is the one. She is his mate. The only problem is she refuses to be apart of his life and accept the fact that they are meant to be. Can Damien change the way his mate feels and show her that his life isn't that bad? Or will new discoveries and her protest threaten to come between them?
