In a dystopian society where everyone's death is determined at birth the world tends to be a predictable place. Until it's unpredictable and the impossible happens. Rowan, a normal sixteen year old, manages to live past the date of her death. Now on the run, she must try to evade the government and answer the question that everyone has: How did she survive?
