Cover done by the all-time amazing and fabulous @Amelia_collins_. "Maybe one day you'll realize how much you mean to me." One day she had it all. The best friend. The unforgettable memories. The soccer talent. The naive life. But that changed when she went to high school. Enter Leia Meadows. She isn't the brightest girl in school, but that doesn't stop her from pushing herself. She thought freshman year was going to be a blast, with her sophomore friend Annaleigh Rushman by her side. As luck would have it, Leia came into high school without a single friend, Annie having moved on to bigger and better things. But just when she thinks it could get worse, she bumps into Chris "Richie" Richards, a sophomore who just so happens to be one of the most popular kids in school. Cue romantic music. Yup, as cliche as it sounds, Leia falls head over heels in love with Richie, feeling the impulse to write him letters. Despite the trouble she's heading into, she believes that maybe, just maybe, he could be the solution to all of her problems. But, oh, just when Leia thinks she has him, he gets a date. And that's not even the best part. (Note the sarcasm). After a whole year, she thought she had it all under control. She was badly mistaken. Enter...all of the cruel bullies and helpless bystanders. Poor, naive Leia has to go through the next three years being terribly teased, beaten, and harassed by other kids in school. Will she ever make it through high school alive? °°°°°°°°°°°°°°° I'd like to note that this may sound cheesy, and I'm sorry if so. But, please, don't let that stop you from reading. This story is for all those who have ever been bullied, whether it was verbal, physical, cyber, or what have you. I hope you enjoy this book and are able to connect with Leia as a character.

"You like this, don't you?" Sam grins, running his tongue over his lip ring. "You're turned on by it." "Please," I wave my hand in dismissal. "You are," he accuses, his voice light. He does it again. I can't look away. "Stop." "Why should I? Little Miss 'I hate everyone at Ryder' really does find me irresistible. Who am I to deny her?" Sam's voice has something of an edge to it and my eyes snap to his. "'Little miss 'I hate everyone at Ryder', huh?" I ignore the second part of his jab. "That's right." I lean against my wardrobe, crossing my arms over my chest. "There's only a few people at Ryder I really can't stand, and you're at the top of my list." Sam's eyes narrow on me. "Is that so?" He turns from the mirror and takes a step in my direction. I refuse to back down, tilting my chin up to keep his gaze as he crowds into my space. His eyes hold mine until he's close enough that I can feel the warmth of his breath over my cheeks and his focus shifts to my mouth. He runs his tongue over the lip ring again, and I feel my own lips part slightly as he does it, my breath coming a little faster. My stomach is pulsing with a mix of nervousness and something I'm not totally ready to admit to myself. ---- Logan Grey's a 16 year-old girl with a penchant for Bob Dylan and running long distances. When her father dies suddenly, she and her best friend come up with a scheme to keep her from moving to her grandparents' Ohio estate: two years of boarding at her Connecticut hometown's highly renowned prep school. But a fluke lands Logan in a room with Ryder Academy's hottest, baddest boy and it's pretty obvious they're not going to get along. At least until Sam Evans and his sexy-as-hell lip ring saunter into her life, upending everything she thought she knew. [This story contains strong language and sexual content. You've been warned!]

"Nevermind. So.. who do you like at the moment?" "What?" "Just answer the question, Charlotte." "Uh.. why do you wanna know?" I ask him. "Alright.. since that made you feel uncomfortable.. do you have a boyfriend?" "Um.. that made me feel more uncomfortable, Aiden.." I told him. "Sorry, but I wanted to know before I got to know you a little. I don't want any competition. Because you're a really pretty girl, you know that, Char?" he said to me. That made me blushed a little. Meet Violet Summers. She's the sarcastic girl who doesn't really ever get noticed by anyone. She blends into any crowd because of how "normal" she is. And she loves it. She wouldn't be able to stand the attention of everyone around her. That's why she won't tell Ryan Bloore, her crush for three years, that she practically worships the ground he walks on. Ryan is the captain of the basketball team at their school, so guys see him like he's a god and girls act like he walks on water. If they were to date, all eyes would be on her- she would be under everyone's scrutiny. So she's kept her feelings a secret, and she's done her best to suppress her emotions these past years, but she's realized that she's been so caught up in making people not notice her that she didn't realize how lonely she would be when no one was watching. Now meet Ryder Knight. School bad boy. Quarterback captain and heartthrob. The kind that wears a leather jacket and has tattoos all over his arms. The one who shows up to school riding a motorcycle. Just your average run of the mill "if you get involved with this guy, you will meet some serious trouble" kind of male. Well, too bad for Violet, she's stuck with him now. After all of the years of pushing away her feelings for Ryan because of her fear of being seen, she is now all anyone can look at- because of Ryder. Because of him, she can feel their stares, and she hates him for it. The longer they spend time together, the more Ryder starts to realize he actually enjoys being around her-despite her snarky comments about how much she despises him. And if Violet is being completely honest with herself, she's also starting to realize she might not actually hate the fact that people are noticing her now, but hate the way Ryder makes her feel.

Mason Montgomery has everything-looks, money, power. But beneath the smirks and confidence, he's spent years battling demons he refuses to name. When Violet walks into his life, soft-spoken yet undeniably strong, she's just another rich American girl-or so he thinks. He's determined to push her away, but she sees right through him. When a dangerous encounter at a party pushes them to their true breaking point, Mason is forced to face what he's known all along-Violet isn't just another girl. She's the one person who sees him.
