Two broken hearts: One a drug addict who wishes his family would give him the respect he deserves, the other a survivor of the worst kind of betrayal who craves love even from the very man who shattered him.
One love that will change them forever... if only they tear down the walls around their hearts to let it in.
WARNING: This fic gets dark pretty fast and stays that way for a while. General trigger warnings are for rape, addiction, abuse, ableism, and mental health issues. This is heavy and serious material and I will treat it as such. There are some fluffy moments spread throughout, and the ending, of course, is happy, but generally speaking, if you only like fluffy fics, this is probably not for you.
